Required to ensure that the curriculum workshops operate effectively and to assist in the assessment of student performance. The successful candidate will also assist with the delivery of the curriculum, this post would therefore suit an aspiring teacher who is prepared to commit to undertaking teaching/assessing qualifications. A vocational level three qualification in an engineering subject is essential along with a clear understanding of safe working practices and previous experience of equipment servicing and maintenance. Applicants should be able to demonstrate sound practical skills. Previous experience of managing consumables and purchasing materials & equipment would be an advantage.

A Counsellor is required to provide long and short term counselling to Yorkshire Coast College students of all ages. The successful candidate will be qualified to diploma level in counselling and/or psychotherapy. Membership of a nationally recognised association such as BACP/UKCP is also a pre-requisite for this role as is the potential to work towards accreditation. The ability to maintain client confidentiality whilst liaising with members of staff and outside agencies is also an essential requirement. In addition the person we are seeking will be organised, approachable and computer literate. The successful applicant will be confident in lone working and managing own caseload whilst being part of an existing team.
