Tutorial
As an important part of your course you will have tutorials with a dedicated personal tutor who will help you to set learning targets and review your progress.
Essential Skills Assessment
We will help you to assess your skills prior to the start of your course and will be able to offer you any additional learning support to help you to achieve your goals.
Being a Student at YCC
The common room is the place to relax chill out and meet your friends. There are two pool tables, a jukebox, TV and video and refreshment machine. The Student Union is an important part of college life; the student executive holds meetings with the college management and various other bodies to consult on activities and issues. You could be part of the executive, organising events, being the main liaison contact between students and the College Management Team, or even become Student Governor. The Student Liaison Coordinator is based in the common room and is at hand to organise any trips, activities or charity work that you may wish to join in with.
